Our business of baking together started in 2015 (10 years ago!) when Kevan decided to participate in a 'bake-off' at his home church in Detroit. He was going to bake one of his infamous sweet-potato pies against a pound cake being served up by a well-known caterer. I could tell he was nervous, as he should've been! Though his pies were impeccable, pound cake simply strums different heart strings.

I told him the honest truth, which was that he was probably going to lose! After a spout of laughter, I offered to teach him how to bake my favorite pound cake. That resulted in a fantastically moist, buttery, and flavorsome pound cake for his competition. After leveling the playing field, he won by a landslide.

Kevan always says, "When I tasted that cake, I knew I was in love."

We have been baking and creating together ever since. Using our abundance of passion for baking, along with carefully selected fresh ingredients, we work daily to provide the best pound cakes and flavor variety - ever.
